INTRODUCTION

We inform you with great sorrow about the martyr’s death of the two Filipino red fighters and artists Ka Parts Bagani and Kerima Lorena Taliman („Ka Ella”), who both fell in an encounter with the dirty murderers of the Philippine army. The cultural part of this bulletin is completely comprised of a selection of Ka Parts’ artworks. Of course, we will also reproduce art by Ka Ella as soon as we have it. For now, we only have the memorial picture to her that can be seen below the introduction of this report.

Statement

Bourgeois newspaper Telangana Today has reported on a recent statement of the CPI (Maoist) calling for the release of Chairman Gonzalo, the leader of the Communist Party of Peru, who has been imprisoned for 29 years under the worst conditions and is currently being murdered by U.S. imperialism and the Peruvian State in a hospital. We reproduce this article here.

In a statement here on Thursday, the Central Committee spokesperson Abhay said Gonzalo, a veteran leader of Peru Communist Party, was arrested 29 years ago by comprador government of Peru in collision with American imperialists.

He was kept in a high security prison, subjected to psychological torture for the last 29 years and denied medical treatment and other basic facilities to him. It was well known fact that Gonzalo stood against imperialists, fought for oppressed people of Peru and led the revolutionary movement of Peru, he said.

20/8/2021: Two surprise attacks with two dead reactionaries respectively. The first occurred in Chhattisgarh, where the grandiosely announced military operation “Prahar 3” against the masses and communists is underway; the second in the Kariyameta area near the Indo-Tibetan border. We quote two reports from bourgeois Indian newspapers about the two respective attacks:

„NEW DELHI, Aug. 20 (Xinhua) – Two paramilitary troopers including an officer were killed Friday after Naxals attacked them in the central Indian state of Chhattisgarh, the police said.
The attack happened in the Chhotedongar area of Narayanpur district, about 250 km south of Raipur, the capital city of Chhattisgarh.
The police said the duo was part of a contingent deployed to carry out area domination patrol.
Today in the afternoon Naxals attacked a paramilitary contingent by resorting to firing. Two personnel including a commandant were killed on the spot,” a senior police official, Sundarraj Pattilingam, was quoted by local media as having said. “The contingent which was on area domination operation in Chhotedongar area.
Following the attack, reinforcement was rushed to the spot. However, preliminary reports suggest Naxals managed to flee from the spot.”

„Naxals carried out an attack on a police party going for road opening on Friday, resulting in the death of two Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) jawans.
Sudhakar Shinde, assistant commandant of ITBP and one jawan martyred in the brutal incident. Superintendent of Police Narayanpur confirmed the attack and death of an ITBP officer and a jawan.
The incident occurred on Naraynpur-Barsoor road in Kariyameta area.
Meanwhile, the gunfighting ensued between the police forces and naxals still going on, said the police sources.
However, more details about the incident are still awaited.
Bastar IG Sundarraj P told the media, Naxals laid an ambush and carried out an attack on the road opening party of ITBP Battalion 45. The attack was carried out 600 meters away from the kadiyameta camp. In the incident, the naxals have looted one AK 47 and two bullet proof jacket and a walky talky.”
