This is a sentence written down by Comrade Mao Zedong during a talk with Huo Guofeng in Beijing, China on the 25th of June, 1976. It was first published in the Biography of Mao Zedong, 1949-76.

The «domestic affairs» to which the sentence refers were the continuation of the Movement to Criticize Deng Xiaoping and Beat Back the Right-Deviationist Attempt to Reverse Correct Verdicts, for which Hua Guofeng was responsible.
