The Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean People's Army headed by Comrade Kim Il Sung have achieved great successes during the past five years of struggle in Korea. Resolutely opposed to imperialism and feudalism, they have established the people's political power to serve the people, formed the courageous People's Army, and established friendly relations with the Council Union, China, and other people's States. Now, they are waging a heroic struggle against the US invaders and the Syngman Rhee bandit army. Therefore, all Chinese People's Volunteers in Korea must conscientiously learn from the Korean comrades, and wholeheartedly support the Korean, people, the government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the Korean People's Army, the Workers' Party of Korea, and Comrade Kim Il Sung, the leader of the Korean people. The Chinese and Korean comrades should unite as closely as siblings, go through thick and thin together, stick together in life and death, and fight to the end to defeat their common enemy. The Chinese comrades must consider Korea's cause as their own and the commanders and fighters must be instructed to cherish every hill, every river, every tree, and every blade of grass in Korea and take not a single needle or a single thread from the Korean people, just the way we feel about our own country and treat our own people. This is the political basis for winning victory. So long as we act this way, final victory will be assured.
